Biosafety laboratories

Products manipulated in classified laboratories may present a risk for people or the environment. Those products include pathogenic microorganisms, genetically modified organisms, biological samples, toxins and cell cultures. Area of utilization are varied: animaleries, screening laboratories, analytical laboratories, research with animal experiments, hospitals, activities using microorganisms or toxic gases.

There are different levels of biological safety. Some applications have to integrate enclosures prohibiting the transfer of contaminants towards the exterior or even totally sterile inside environments. Whether under superpressure or under vacuum, clean rooms must be totally sealed and their performances must be guaranteed.
