Fire safety: glazing

DAGfeu glazing: Dagard’s fire resistant glazing

For a cleanroom or isothermal enclosure with the best possible fire resistance performance, Dagard offers a complete range of solutions integrating fire-resistant partitions, doors and ceilings as well as smoke extraction hatches. Fire-resistant glazing completes this system, providing optimum fire resistance.

Dagard fire-resistant glazing

What is Dagard’s fire-resistant glazing made of?

Depending on the expected performance, the composition is different.

The DAGfeu EI30-EI45 glazing is composed of two laminated single panes glued to the frame. These two glazings are flush on each side of the wall. Between them is a fire-resistant glass, which is centred on the thickness of the wall.

The DAGfeu EI60 glazing is composed of two toughened glass panes bonded to the frame, with a fire-resistant glass between them, centred on the thickness of the wall.

The DAGfeu glazing frame

Dagard’s fire-resistant glazing is mounted in a lacquered steel frame that is almost flush. A wide choice of colours is available according to the Dagard colour chart. The finishes are made with silicone gaskets or intumescent seals and no fixings are visible to the naked eye.

Dimensions and performance of DAGfeu glazing

Dagard fire-resistant glazing is mounted on a fire-resistant partition. It is available in different maximum dimensions depending on the required performance (EI30, EI45 or EI60). For a resistance of 1/2h (EI30), the maximum dimensions of Dagard fire-resistant glazing are 1000 x 1200 mm (maximum spacing 1200 mm from the floor). For a 1-hour resistance (EI60), the maximum dimensions are 1200 x 1200 mm (max. spandrel 1400 mm from the floor).
