Fire resistance performances are expressed in REI60, REI90 and REI120 classification, which correspond to fire resistance times from 60 minutes to 120 minutes.
The fireproof ceiling is the result of the assembly of sandwich panels, which are either simple interlocking with a plaster key and a sheet metal anti-fall system or double interlocking with a calcium silicate key and a sheet metal anti-fall system.
Dagard’s fire ceiling has proven fire resistance performance thanks to its sandwich panels with their rock wool core. Assembled by simple or double interlocking, they enable the composition of a ceiling benefiting from the considerable advantages of rock wool in terms of fire resistance.
High density rock wool is incombustible. It has a melting point of over 1000°C. Moreover, it does not give off any toxic smoke.
